Our ship bridge simulator is supplied by Kongsberg Maritime Ship Systems (KMSS) with a software version of 4.5. It consists of an instructor station, one full-mission own ship bridge with five visual channels, and three own ship bridges with one visual each.

This simulator model is type-approved by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Maritime and Coastguard Agency (UK), United States Coast Guard, Transport Canada , Department of Transportation (U.S.A.), Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation , and the Norwegian Maritime Directorate. This simulator exceeds the requirements of STCW'95.

The simulator is capable of simulating total shipboard bridge operation situations, including executions of difficult maneuvers in restricted waters.

A navigator bases 70% of his decision making on visual observation. This makes visual systems as the most important training tool. The realism depth perception and ability to realistically recreate the various conditions experienced at sea, places our visual systems in a class of their own. Our bridge simulator currently uses Seaview II visual systems to meet individual training needs of the marine simulation environment.
