Course Description
This
three-day course covers the different forms of contracts between shipowner
and charterer, with emphasis on the following areas: voyage charter for dry
bulk, voyage charter for liquid bulk, time charter, and bare boat charter.
The unique characteristics, contract details, and other significant clauses
of each charter party are thoroughly dealt with through interactive
discussion, case studies, and role playing using actual forms and scenarios.
This
course is open to management level deck officers, as well as other personnel
who are involved in charter party negotiations.
